Countryside Veterinary Clinic's doctors and employees are all pet owners.  Most of us have been in the unfortunate position of having to make the decision to euthanize our own pets.  We understand how painful the decision and loss of a pet can be.  We can help you know what to expect when a pet has to be put down.  Our doctors can advise you on how to know when a pet put down; give you tips for making the process easier on you emotionally, give you options for dealing with pet bodies and knowing what to say to your children, as well as how to treat the pets left behind.

As pet owners ourselves, many of us have lost our best friends -- we know firsthand the grief, emptiness and loneliness you are feeling. When the day comes that you must say goodbye, please allow us to be there to provide the support and guidance you will need to get you through this difficult time.  Our hospital works with a reputable, trusted pet crematory located in Hampshire, Illinois.  They offer many options for pet cremation, including private, individual and communal cremation.

Testimonial

I have always been very happy with the service and treatment we have received at Countryside. This weekend was a little disappointing, but they totally made up for it today when a vet tech came TO MY HOUSE on her way home to give my cat her medicine when they didn't have it in stock this past weekend and I couldn't bring her in myself.
